It’s 9:16 AM and I am sitting on the futon at Katie’s apartment, which I had to drive 6 hours to get to last night. Worth every minute of the drive by the way. But I cant help but wonder what happened to that man I met last night at the gas station.
I was just minding my own business when he walked up to me and asked me if I wanted to buy some water out of his cooler for gas money so they could get home. So I said yes to lend a helping hand. I began to talk with him about where he was going and he told Moorehouse college. I could feel the spirit stirirng within me telling me to give more. (This is not a pat on my back) I have no idea who this guy was, where he came from, what his kids name was, or even what his name was. But I do know that LOVE is not dead. God is LOVE. And when we as the body of Christ LOVE big we can spark a revolution. My Gods not dead, hes surely alive, living on the inside, roaring like a lion.
Church, we have got to start loving others. It is our primal way of life. We should Love God with all our heart, mind and soul and Love our neighbor as our self. Back to the basics! If we cant get these two right, then we are not getting anything right, Be encouraged Church. The spirit will guide and comfort as we strive to live as he lived.
